2. Acceptance of Terms By accessing our website and placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our store.

3. Age Restriction Our products include Damascus steel kitchen knives, which are sharp tools intended for adult use only. By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age. We reserve the right to cancel orders where we have reason to believe this requirement is not met.

4. Products We sell premium Damascus steel kitchen knives and wooden knife holders. Product images are for illustrative purposes; slight variations in pattern and grain are inherent to handcrafted Damascus steel and natural wood, and are not considered defects.

5. Pricing and VAT All prices are listed in Euros (EUR) and include 21% Dutch VAT (BTW), unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change prices at any time. The price applicable to your order is the price displayed at the time of checkout.

6. Order Confirmation Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. Your order is confirmed once you receive a confirmation email from us. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, for example in cases of pricing errors, stock unavailability, or suspected fraud.

7. Shipping Delivery terms, shipping costs, and estimated timeframes are set out in our separate Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms of Service.

8. Returns and Refunds Our return and refund terms are set out in our separate Return & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms of Service and complies with EU consumer rights legislation.

9. Liability Limitation Our products are sharp kitchen tools intended for use by adults with appropriate care. We are not liable for any injury, damage, or loss resulting from misuse, improper handling, or use of our products contrary to their intended purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any claim arising from a purchase is limited to the purchase price of the product in question. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

10. Intellectual Property All content on this website — including images, text, and branding — is the property of Kanaal Commerce and may not be reproduced without prior written permission.

11. Governing Law and Disputes These Terms of Service are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent Dutch courts. If you are a consumer resident in another EU member state, you retain the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence, in accordance with applicable EU consumer protection law.
